Hey everyone, hope your week has been a great one, welcome back and happy Fridayyyy. As the pages turn (too quickly) through the month… we can’t help but think about the arriving warmer weather and fun outside activities. The hiking, swimming, water skiing, beach and running trails! …Then I think, yikes… as I look over at the empty candy wrappers that litter my desk:/ …I realize I need to make sure I stay on a healthy track so I can have the energy to enjoy all those fun plans that await! Sooo… I went a searching for some healthy and delicious (fast prep) recipes that weren’t too tricky (for the “not so great” cooks, uhh hummm… like me 🙂 hope you enjoy them!

Sometimes I realize that to get motivated, to “get out there and exercise” …I need to unplug from all the electronics, beeps and tones that constantly knock on my conscious… endless… you know the “too busy excuse” 🙂 … but it is totally true (for me) that sometimes just a long walk without all the electronics can surely help relax the mind…

Healthy Spirit… nothing like The Word, and encouragement through a song to take us to church, and rejuvenate our souls!! Until next week, wishing you health and blessings! Chat again soon 🙂

Hey everyone… hope your week has been a great one, pull up a chair, we’ve got fresh cucumbers cut, blueberries, yeh so thankful for all those veggies and fruit, and of course a cup of java or tea to compliment it! 🙂 Soooo, trying to be healthy and run most days, and the last few have been full of waving warm skies, and beach-like constant wind, beautiful! …We love nature, something about being surrounded by God’s art of perfection in every bright color palate you can imagine, brings such a sense of peace… yeh. The trees are bursting with every green rolling along the hillsides! Speaking of trees y’all… Arbor Day is celebrated this month! According to Wikipedia… The first Arbor Day was celebrated in America on April 10, 1872 in Nebraska! They say approximately ONE MILLION trees were planted, Wow!

I think that I shall never see

A poem lovely as a tree

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest

Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,

And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear

A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;

Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,

But only God can make a tree.

-Joyce Kilmer

So as we go along this month, we hope to plant a tree, or three. Let’s celebrate nature! Hope that your day is filled with good things, have a wonderful weekend everyone… love and blessings… and chat with you soon!

Hey everyone! Welcome, how bout we all take a break from the taxes (Yay)! …pull up a chair and savor a cup of coffee and toast to the wonderful month of April… the month of rain showers… yes, the rain that nourishes those beautiful May flowers and fills the rivers and oceans. We love the way the flowers, leaves, rivers and oceans hold the raindrops and you can see the sun’s reflection like diamonds (April’s Birthstone)! Do any of you have an April Birthday? We would love to hear from you! …Sometimes April reminds us of new beginnings, change, and strength. It’s like hanging up the winter jacket, and reaching for the sunglasses yehhhh 🙂

Speaking of “new beginnings” …The quote in our book, “New beginnings all start from caring ideas” to us… truly resonates a passionate message. It seems that when we are caring, the motion starting the new idea, beginning, change… is from a genuine place. A place that makes us think about every day, and how we treat others, and a constant reminder to be thankful along the way. Change can bring strength. Y’all know what we’re talking about. It’s like you get used to something being one way, and when you have to change, it’s scary sometimes! However, when you make it through and look back, there is a feeling of strength and accomplishment. I love this song “How Would you live Today” (by Nate Sallie)… how would you change, if you just had today? “New beginnings all start from caring ideas”.

Love and blessings, and chat again next week!
