PROGRAM 1
(30-Minute Session, $75)
Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Grade Students

This untold story can be used as a perfect opportunity to teach Social Studies curriculum standards and objectives for a unit involving American history and our founding documents! We inspire and motivate children to begin to learn more about our country’s history and its importance to their lives by providing an amazing patriotic story, so they can grow up discovering their U.S. freedoms and honor the military heroes who paved the way for all to achieve their American Dream!

This beautifully illustrated and innovative story inspires and motivates children to deeply appreciate our country. Along with this, their curiosity will be piqued to begin to learn more about the treasured documents of freedom that were carried aboard the 1947 Freedom Train, as it traveled all around America to every state at that time. We are intently focused on our upcoming generations of children growing up and jumping on board to help make a more perfect union, because they have a heartfelt love for their country, understand the sacrifice, and they care. We believe new beginnings all start from caring ideas.

Being a child, wife and mother of military service, and former educator, this story amplifies all of my passions about education from the perspective of dreams… and the tremendous opportunity we have living in a country where there is freedom to discover and chase your dreams! We want children to grow up fully understanding the profound privilege it is to live in America… and the immense and overwhelming, on-going sacrifice of our men, women and their families to maintain our freedoms. Students can grow up understanding this concept, and this educational story provides that understanding in an age-appropriate way.

After learning about this train’s journey, children will begin to build a strong foundation of patriotism, respect for all our military heroes and appreciation of our great freedoms. ALL ABOARD!

Program includes fun opening Power Point, engaging picture walk through the story and time for questions and conversation with the author about this magnificent train’s journey!
